Currency and Belief, 2003

Published on the occasion of a major exhibition of works by John Newling for Yorkshire Sculpture Park. The Exhibition, entitled Currency and Belief involved several newly commissioned works. The relationship of Currency to belief has long been a preoccupation of Newling’s practice. This book fully documents all the works and processes in this important series of installations. It also has major critical and contextual essay by Antonia Payne, Simon Herbert, and Clare Lilley.
